Join the City of Federal Way Recycling and South King Tool Library for our first Virtual Repair and Maintenance Session for all of your stringed instruments!

Whether you're new to music or just your instrument, or maybe you just have a family heirloom you want to revive; learn all about re-stringing, maintenance and minor repairs of everything with strings. We will cover electric or acoustic: Guitar, Ukulele, Bass, Violin, Viola, Bass and more.

Leading the class will be Federal Way resident, SKTL supporter, and head manager of the Seattle store, the Trading Musician - John Herman.

In this session, we will give a demonstration of the restringing and we will go over the basics and the more specific problems each instrument may have. Plus, the basics of safe storage, handling, and regular maintenance. And of course, plenty of time for Q & A!

We will have 10 spots open for restringing drop-off if you are not physically able to do the restringing or minor repair of the instruments. Email director@southkingtools.org to arrange drop off, check out tools, or if you have any questions.
