Please read the below information carefully. 

If you have an appointment you need to cancel, please cancel 24 hours before if possible. 

If you do not have all documents, payments, and pre-filled forms completed by your appointment time, you will be asked to reschedule.

Passports currently by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Walk-ins will not be serviced at this time. If you are more than 5 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled. 

Please carefully review the contents of passport applications and documents. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure correctness of information provided -and needed items are present. We will e-mail you in advance. Check your spam folder! If you are not sure what you need, please call 253-835-7001 to speak with a passport agent. 

Our office only accepts DS-11 applications.

The City of Federal Way is an official Passport Acceptance Agency. The actual decision to issue or deny a passport is made only by a passport services agency, not the City of Federal Way. Passports are not required for direct travel between the mainland U.S. and its insular territories, including Guam, Puerto Rico, the Marianas, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. A passport card is good only for domestic air travel, land and sea travel from Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean. All international air travel requires a passport book.
