What is National Night Out?

National Night Out is all about bringing neighbors together to build stronger, safer communities. On Tuesday, August 5, neighborhoods and businesses across Federal Way will join the fun as we connect with each other and celebrate public safety.

This year we’re excited to be joined by the Mayor’s Office, City Council and South King Fire, all coming out to celebrate with YOU!

Host an Event in Your Neighborhood or Business

Whether you're planning a block party, potluck, BBQ, or another fun gathering, we encourage you to register your event and help light up the city with community spirit.

✔️ Big or small — all gatherings are welcome
✔️ Meet neighbors, first responders, and local leaders
✔️ Strengthen relationships that make neighborhoods safer
✔️ Events typically take place in the late afternoon or evening
