Notice of Funds Available (NOFA) 

2025-2026 Human Services General Fund Grants and CDBG Public Services Funding

The City of Federal Way will be seeking applications from non-profit and public agencies for human services for 2025-2026 Human Services General Fund Grants and CDBG Public Services funding.  As a member of the Human Service Funders Collaborative, the City of Federal Way is participating in this joint application process with fifteen (15) other King County cities. Approximately $712,000 will be available in Human Services General Fund grants and $116,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Services funding per year for 2025 and 2026. Available amounts are dependent on final budgets.

Proposed projects seeking this funding opportunity must address one of the City Council adopted strategies and serve Federal Way residents that qualify as low- and moderate-income. Strategies and related plans and needs assessments may be found by following this link: 2020-2024 CDBG Consolidated Plan. 

When and where will applications be available?  Applications will be available beginning Monday, March 4, 2024, at www.share1app.org. 

Will there be a technical workshop? Two bidders’ workshops will be held throughout King County. More information may be found at www.share1app.org.

Deadline to Apply?  Applications must be received before 4:00 pm on Monday, April 8, 2024.
