The City of Federal Way is a member of a the Human Services Funding Collaborative and accepts HSGF applications through the Share1 App hosted by the City of Redmond.  Learn more about the Funding Collaborative and the application process on the City of Redmond's website.

ADOPTED STRATEGIES

Funding priority is given to programs that align with the City's Human Services strategies:

Basic Needs

Address basic needs by increasing housing stability, health, or food security.  At least 40% of Human Services General Funds must be allocated to this strategy.

Safety

Promote individual and community safety through prevention, intervention, or crisis services.

Poverty Reduction

Support services that reduce poverty by fostering stability and self-sufficiency for individuals and families.
