CURRENT WORK:

S 348^th (9^th Ave S to Pacific Hwy) Pavement Preservation Project

NIGHT WORK – September 11 and 12 – Temporary lane closures 8 PM – 5 AM for permanent striping (weather dependent).

2024 Overlay Project – Various Locations – Contract Awarded to Lakeside Industries https://www.federalwaywa.gov/page/2024-asphalt-overlay-project

Fiber Optic Loop Project – City’s contractor Cannon Construction will be placing conduit in various locations for completing a fiber optic communications network. 

Sound Transit – Federal Way Link Extension (FWLE)

23rd Ave S - S 320^th  to S 317^th : LONG TERM LANE CLOSURE - Northbound traffic only on 23^rd Ave S between S 320^th to S 317^th starting February 2024. Southbound traffic will be redirected to Pete Von Reichbauer Way.

WSDOT – SR 167 Completion Project 

I-5 Full Night-Time Closures in Fife (between SR18 and 54^th Ave East) to set bridge girders scheduled for:

• September 27 & 28
• October 4 & 5
• October 11 & 12
• October 18 & 19
