PROJECT SCOPE

This project will repave selected streets throughout the City along with the repair and improvement to curb, sidewalks, and curb ramps to meet the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

PROJECT FUNDING

The cost to the City for the 2025 Asphalt Overlay Program was included within the approved budget under the Public Works Department Arterial Street Fund (Fund 102) and Solid Waste 10% Utility Tax Fund (Fund 116).  In accordance with the approved budget, this item is funded by restricted funds including Real Estate Excise Tax (REET), Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (MVET), and Solid Waste Utility Tax.  Upon completion of the 2025 Asphalt Overlay Project, no other ongoing costs are anticipated.

The Available Funding for the 2025 Asphalt Overlay is $4,650,000.00

PROJECT UPDATE

Work in the Scarborough schedule remains.  It is scheduled to be completed in Spring 2026.
