PROJECT LOCATION
Phase 2: S 288th St - 16th Ave S to 25th Ave S
PROJECT SCOPE
This project proposed to construct a continuous bicycle and ADA-accessible pedestrian route along S 288th St from 16th Ave S and 25th Ave S, which includes: planing bituminous pavement, 2" HMA overlay, upgrade curb ramps to meet ADA standards, mid-block pedestrian crossings, channelization, replacement of the traffic signal at Military Road S, and utility adjustments. This is a "road diet" project that will convert S 288th St from two vehicle lanes in each direction, to a single lane in each direction along with a two-way-left-turn lane and bicycle lanes.

PROJECT SCHEDULE
Phase 2: Construction begins May 19, 2025 through October 31, 2025.
PROJECT FUNDING
The funding for this project includes a state Transportation Improvement Board grant and also a state Bicycle and Pedestrian grant.
