The Federal Way Arts Commission is excited to announce the 3rd Annual β€œArts Explosion” Juried Art Show Festival, taking place from May 30th to June 1st, at the Performing Arts & Events Center (PAEC). This vibrant festival will celebrate the diversity of Federal Way, showcasing the talents of both adult and youth artists, while promoting artistic growth and community engagement.

Get ready for a magical evening at the Family Promβ€”a new twist on the beloved Sweetheart Ball! This special event is designed for children and their beloved adult heroes to share a night full of fun and memories. Dance the night away, enjoy light refreshments, and visit our concessions for extra fun! Capture the moment with professional event portraits, and join in on the games and activities throughout the evening.

Federal Way to Activate Overnight Severe Weather Shelter in Response to Freezing Temperatures

Mayor Jim Ferrell is working with FUSION to help keep the Federal Way community warm due to extended cold temperatures.

The City of Federal Way is partnering with FUSION to activate a severe weather shelter tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 14. FUSION’s shelter will temporarily accommodate homeless individuals based on availability at 1505 S. 328th Street, Federal Way, 98003.

FIREWORKS at 10:15 PM!

Join us at Celebration Park in Federal Way on July 4th for the Red, White & Blues Festival! Enjoy live music, food vendors, and family fun all day. The main stage lights up at 4:00 PM with diverse performers. Don’t miss the fireworks at 10:15 PM. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for comfort. Admission and parking are free for all. Let’s celebrate together!
