BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The project shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and all other work incidental thereto for small-scale asphalt patching at designated locations within the City of Federal Way. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: roadway excavation, planing bituminous pavement, removal and disposal of failed asphalt sections, removal of traffic early detection loops(replaced by others) Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) paving and compaction, joint sealing, traffic control, and site restoration. All materials and construction methods must comply with the current WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction and City of Federal Way special provisions.

NOTE: Only Vendors Listed under the MRSC Small Works Roster under the "Asphalt" category will be considered for this project.
