BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The City has recently completed the Southwest King County Trails Plan and has constructed a segment of the planned non-motorized corridor along 16th Avenue South to Federal Way High School. There are existing bike lanes and sidewalks in the city center area to connect pedestrians and other non-motorized road users to Downtown Federal Way and the Downtown Federal Way Station. The City Center Greenway project aims to improve the connectivity for all users along S 308th Street & 20th Avenue South between the existing non-motorized corridor at Federal Way High School and the City Center. The City is currently in early design phase for this project and is seeking feedback from the public and highly affected residents to incorporate into the design.
