PROJECT SCOPE
This project will look at a sequence of projects to reduce upstream erosion, install grade controls and stabilization downstream, reduce flooding, improve water quality, and replace the pipe or reopen the stream channel through the Cold Creek drainage basin. GeoEngineers was previously hired to prepare a Basin Study and Prioritization Report that will inform the projects.
PROJECT SCHEDULE
Improvements throughout the basin will be conducted through a series of projects. The first phase of improvements will be starting design in 2026.
PROJECT FUNDING
The funding for this project includes a King County Flood Reduction Grant.
