RAINFEST 2025

Celebrate, Learn, and Protect Our Water! 

Join us for RAINFEST, a free, family-friendly community event that brings fun and learning together in support of a healthy environment! Explore engaging educational activities focused on water quality, pollution prevention, and environmental stewardship in Federal Way.

This interactive event features:

  • Local environmental organizations
  • Expert workshops on sustainability and water pollution prevention
  • Hands-on, kid-friendly activities
  • Concessions voucher available upon completion of educational activities (while supplies last)

Whether you’re a curious kid, an eco-conscious adult, or just looking for a great day out, RAINfest has something for everyone. Come rain or shine, let’s celebrate our environment and learn how we can protect the water that sustains us all! 

When: Sunday, September 14th 10 am – 2 pm

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:

10:15 AM - Water Quality in Federal Way, how you can get involved in protecting our waterways. 

11:00 AM - Green Cleaning, make & take a safe cleaner that is chemical-free

12:00 PM - Rain Barrels, learn about how to make your own rain barrel at home

1:00 PM - Container Gardening (Spanish & English)- how to garden at home, even in small spaces! Taught in both Spanish & English.
