7/9/25 - The city is waiting on 100% plans from the consultant.
Proposed Improvements
The city has established median control throughout the length of the project to reduce the severity of collisions from driveways and side streets. Furthermore, the city will construct a roundabout at the intersection of S 373rd Street to address the level of service failure and reduce the risk of collisions with minimal additional delay.
Budget
The city was awarded a Washington State Transportation Improvement Board Grant in the amount of $2,500,000 to fund this project.
Schedule
The design will occur in 2024-2025 with construction beginning in early 2026.

A public information meeting was held on April 17th, 2025 at 6 pm.
